Beppe Lemessi, now retired after a long experience of executive management in the advanced tertiary sector. The friendship of Giancarlo and Antonella Scialanga, the foresight of my wife Daniela and the fortunate meeting with Gabriella Giuntoli 25 years ago did the rest. My son and his family were also infected by the island, by the colors of its nature, by the extreme diversity of its climate and its sea. The Dammuso Circle Association was created to safeguard this uniqueness consisting of three groups: the natural, the rural and the architectural, an unrepeatable asset to be protected and discovered on tiptoe.

I have worked in fashion for more than 30 years, now I write, draw and try to live in Pantelleria as much as possible enjoying its changes and progress. It arrived thanks to Fabrizio Ferri in 1989.

Born in Portici, I have lived in Pantelleria since 2016. After more than thirty years spent abroad, between Luxembourg and Switzerland, where I worked as a director and financial consultant in a private bank, I am now retired. The meeting with Pantelleria took place in 2001, during a short and unexpected holiday, one of those that change the pace of things. An island of black stone and wind, which does not offer itself immediately but which, slowly, becomes home. Chosen in 2006 to celebrate the marriage with my wife Grazia, since then it has become a constant landing, a place to return to, until it turns into a shared life choice. In 2016 we moved permanently to the island, opening a new chapter in our journey. Intertwining our daily life with Pantelleria, we have tried to give back part of what the island has given us, contributing with respect and awareness to its protection and enhancement, through experiences of hospitality, culture and relationship with the territory.

I live in Palermo, but for over forty years Pantelleria has been part of my life: an island that I love and that I reach whenever I can. I work in a multinational company in the energy sector. I am a wife, mother of two children and inseparable companion of two dachshunds. I love animals, nature and authentic places, capable of preserving their identity over time.

Mauro Adami is a leading figure in the international wedding design and high-profile event planning scene, particularly in the luxury destination wedding sector. Since 2018 he has been living and working in Pantelleria, where he has become one of the protagonists of wedding tourism on the island. Here his vision blends with his love for the volcanic landscape, the salty wind, the lava stone and the African sunsets, with a narrative result for memorable and unrepeatable moments.

Elena Zannoni, Milanese, doctor. Inter fan from birth, traveler, bewitched by Pantelleria, an island of land, sea and friendship.

Alessia Ficani, graduated in law, lives in Milan, president of the board of directors of First Atlantic Real Estate. Mother of 4 children and volunteer of Vidas. Seduced by the sea, the light and the land of Pantelleria, she has spent long periods on the island with her family for over thirty years.
