Serious disruptions to the Tim mobile line

We denounce that, once again, in recent days and for over 24 hours, in a large part of the western area of the island, the TIM signal has been absent or severely compromised.
This is a significant inconvenience for residents, economic operators and visitors, but above all for tourists on the island, who often find themselves without the possibility of communicating, orienting themselves, booking services, making payments or managing urgent needs.
Pantelleria also thrives on hospitality, mobility and essential services: connectivity is no longer an accessory, but a minimum condition for daily life and for the quality of the tourist experience.
Considering that this is a phenomenon that unfortunately repeats itself frequently, we ask that the authorities and competent bodies take this situation seriously, identifying suitable and concrete solutions so that the island does not remain isolated again, with consequent serious disservices for the local community and for the many visitors present in the area.
We therefore hope for rapid intervention for the full restoration of the service and greater attention to the continuity and reliability of the island’s digital infrastructures, especially in periods of greater tourist presence.
